Patricia Margaret Wick, 79, of Racine, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at All Saints Hospital in Racine. She was born on August 27, 1939 in Milwaukee to Francis and Gertrude (NEE: Peterson) Anderson. On November 29, 1958 she married John Wick at St. John Nepumuck Catholic Church in Racine. Pat worked for Heritage Reality for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed gambling at casinos, camping, gardening, watching movies, especially comedies, crocheting and knitting. She loved asking questions with her very imaginative mind. She was nosy, enjoyed going on manufacturing tours, as well as eating at her favorite restaurant “Golden Corral”. Patricia will be deeply missed by her husband, John, 3 sons, Richard (Maureen) Wick, John “Ron” (Kelly) Wick, Randall “Randy” (Sarah) Wick, her sister Kris (Rick) Stricker and brother John (Kathy) Anderson along with her best friend Barb Proeber as well as other special nieces, nephews relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private family services and burial will be held per Patricia’s wishes.
Patricia was my cousin. Her father and my mother, (Maxine (Anderson) Petersen were siblings.
I remember Patty always smiling, even as a little girl when we would gather at the Anderson farm for family picnics. Even though I didn’t live in the Racine area, I would occasionally run into her and John at Festival foods. We would exchange stories of our childhood and keep each other updated on recent family happenings. I’ll miss her and her beautiful smile.

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”
Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Pat worked for my family’s real estate business, Curtin Realty, in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. She handled all of the firms real estate closings as well as many other administrative matters expertly. I and all of the firms owners and agents held her in very high regard. After Pat went to Heritage Realty, my wife Linda was hired to work there too as Pat’s assistant in the closing department. They worked together for many years. Linda always said that Pat was great to work for and that she was a very nice lady. As for me, Pat always made me look good to my clients and customers and seemed to always have the answer when a question was asked of her. She will be missed and I will continue to think of her often.
