Nancy Marie Zelaya, (NEE: Cantu), 48, passed away Friday, August 1, 2024 at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Racine.  Nancy was born November 26, 1975 in East Chicago, IN, the daughter of Jose and Linda E. (NEE: Nava) Cantu.  She married Eddie Zelaya.  She loved to bowl,  plan parties, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her brother and sister and visiting the park. She will be deeply missed by her husband Eddie Zelaya, her daughter Laura Zelaya, her parents, sister Rosie (Robert) Montano along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.  Nancy is preceded in death by her brother Jose Cantu, Jr., paternal grandmother Maria Cantu, and maternal grandmother Evelia P. Nava.  A memorial service for Nancy will be held in St. Richards Catholic Church on Saturday, August 17, 2024  at 10:00 a.m.  The family will receive guests in St. Richards Catholic Church on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial is private for the family.
