Kay Marie Halverson, 82, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Sage Meadows in Racine. Kay was born October 15, 1941 in Mondovi, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Orrin and Bernice (Nee: Johnson) Halverson. In her spare time, Kay enjoyed the time she spent with her late sisters Janet and Carol. They would shop, attend rummage sales and always made sure to grab lunch at one of their favorite fast food restaurants. She will be deeply missed by her brother Gary Halverson along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Orrin and Bernice, her two sisters Janets and Carol, and sister-in-law Patricia Halverson. Private services and burial were held per Kay’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to any local charity or your choice in Kay’s memory. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Denise wright and all the staff at Sage Meadows, as well as Hospice Alliance for the excellent and professional care they provided for Kay during her stay.
