The definition of unconditional love. My deepest prayers go out to Kelly and John Sr, and to everyone who knew John. He will forever be with me.
When I think of Johnny, I know he will always hold a special place in my heart. He was the first grandchild in our family and I can still remember the phone call letting us know that he was born! The excitement was really something, since I became “Aunt Jenny” at 10 years old and had the privilege of babysitting him a couple years later. As a child, Johnny was not shy and seemed to have a way of “being the life of the party”; Uncle Dean and I remember him singing at our wedding reception. I seem to recall “Lord it’s hard to be humble”!
Johnny grew up to be a person of tremendous inner strength who persevered in the face of many difficulties. He was blessed with the ability to move forward in spite of all the roadblocks in his way. He was blessed with a sweet spirit and a contagious laugh! Most of all, Johnny was blessed with courage.
Thank you, Johnny, for always being you! I love you!
