Estella Coronado Hernandez, 80, passed to her eternal home on Sunday, March 15, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Estella was born September 16, 1945 in Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Petra (NEE: Zamora) Coronado. In 1972 Estella married Santiago G. Hernandez in Racine. Estella enjoyed gardening, crafting and watching soap operas. While Santiago was living, the two of them loved to go dancing. Estella’s favorite pastime was spending time with her family and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Estella will be deeply missed by her children Juanta (Ramiro) Rodriguez, Franscisco Hernandez, Juan (Stephanie) Hernandez, Irma (Victor) Hernandez-Lara, Jose Hernandez and Alejandro Hernandez. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Lorena (Andrew) Rivera, Erika Rodriguez, Santiago Hernandez, Elena Hernandez, Gabriela (Elias) Hernandez, Graciela Hernandez, Daniel (Anjel) Hernandez, Juan Antonio (Monica) Hernandez, Kassandra (Julian) Cruz and Selena Hernandez; her great-grandchildren Ameena, Julian, Alayah, Andrew, Ziggy, Oliver, Anthony, Abel, Eliana, Angel, Juno and Minerva. She will be missed by her sisters and brothers Margarita (Gonzalo) Palacios, Julia (Lalo) Lujan, Maria Morales, Sam (Gloria) Coronado, Ricardo Coronado, her beloved dog Betty Boop and Special friend Norma Diaz along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Santiago G. Hernandez , three brothers and a sister. Funeral services for Estella will be held in Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The family will greet guests in the Funeral Home on March 25 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on 32.
