Connie L.(Nee: Andersen) Bowen, 70, passed away in her home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Connie was born in Racine on June 15, 1955, the daughter of Harold Andersen and Sylvia (Nee: Luecfeld) Krueger. She married the late Daniel Bowen who passed in 2011. Connie was a life-time resident of Racine graduating from Racine Horlick High School and attending Gateway Tech. She retired from the Racine Unified School District. In her spare time, she loved cooking and her favorite love was animals, especially dogs and cats. Connie will be deeply missed by her siblings Carl Andersen of Augusta, Ga., Gordon Andersen of Caledonia, WI., Harold Andersen, Jr. of Kenosha, WI., Richard Andersen of Racine, WI., Barbara Schook of Racine and Dora Andersen of Green Bay, WI, along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Daniel. Internment services for Connie will be held at Graceland Cemetery, located at 3457 Osborne Blvd, Racine, WI ,53405 on Wednesday, August 13,2025 at 12:00 Noon.

Gordon or any other family members who see this, we are so sorry and so surprised about this news. We have kept in touch with Connie over the years and talked about family history. Mike and I brought down the little church your father had built and my mom had. It was before we moved to Virginia. We spent time talking about family history and she had so much information.

Sincere condolences to Connie’s family. Was fortunate to have met her some years ago now after finding out she was a blood relative of my late mother. I was glad she was able to meet my mom before she passed. If there are services, please let us know.

I am so sad about Connie passing! She was married to my Uncle Danny for years! We talked often but I had know idea she had passed away recently as there aren’t many people left that are in touch with her. I don’t live in Racine anymore. Loved Connie so much!
