Betty L. Richter, 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Froedtert South – Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital (St. Catherine’s). She was born on September 27, 1936 in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Norma McAllister. Betty married the former late Herman Richter and late Carl Smith. Betty was very creative; she enjoyed making crafts with beads, leather goods, and painting. She kept her mind active by completing puzzle books. Betty will be dearly missed by her children Larry Richter, DeAnna Richter, and Timothy Smith. She will be deeply missed by her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, brothers Charles, Emmitt, and Robert, and sister Evelyn. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 20 at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, Illinois.
