Best. Brother. Ever.
Broken hearts- the price of Love. Gone from this earth but forever in our hearts, cherished memories to soothe the aching void , the price of Love. Hot tears to cleanse the deep wounds of loss, how much I loved you my dear brother. I lost not only my brother but my friend, confidant and encourager. The price of Love- but it is worth it. Faith hope, love the greatest of these is love as God so gently reminds us. Thank you Verner for all you have done for me and countless others. I love you.
Vern is deeply missed and has left an imprint on all the lives he poured into. Vern always made the ordinary extraordinary. May God fill our lives with his peace as we morn our great loss.
My brother, a piece of my heart, my best friend for the last few years, and my soul will always be filled with your love❤️ You could not love more then you did, your heart was so kind and so protective of us sisters. You will always live in my heart, soul and so many precious memories. I love you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😇😇
I am sorry for your family’s loss. Vern’s gifts to others included being exceptionally upbeat and positive, being very caring, humble and having a wonderful sense of humor and joy about life. Vern was a ray of sunshine wherever he went. It was very enjoyable sharing experiences as a Wood Badge staffer with Vern. Vern was a good Scouting friend.
Verner III was such a strong-willed and fun cousin. I have fine memories of time we spent together as kids up north at our grandparents’ home. Sledding, ice fishing on Pine Lake, skiing at Mt. Whitecap, poking around the woods, and idling away rainy days in the bunkhouse—activities that left a real imprint. Deepest condolences to everyone in the family. RIP, Verner. Love, Kathy
I love you Uncle Verner. You were always someone to talk to, encouraging, and positive. I loved being around you. You looked for the best in people. I will always treasure each moment in my heart with you. Bruno had his first popsicle with you. 🙂 Thank you for being the best uncle ever and always loving our family. We love you too. I can’t wait to give you a big hug when I get to heaven someday. I’m looking forward to it. Love you uncle.
My only son laid to rest. My world has ended. He was an extremely smart person, who could handle any issues he was given. Verner loved his family and I’m thankful that he had three sisters who loved him. My only wish is that I see his soul in heaven. Love, Verner Lahti II
Verner was very passionate in what he believed in. He had a big heart and deeply loved his family. He had such a thirst for new adventures and took on each one 100%. I will miss him. My love goes out to Verner’s children and sisters for the loss of a very loyal father and brother.
I never met Verner, but I learn much about him by reading the comments here. I know that he was much loved by my close friend and his sister, Kerri. My condolences to his family and friends.
