Nancy Johnson

Nancy Johnson, 81, passed away Wednesday October 4, 2017 at her home in Sussex, WI.  She was born August 26, 1936 in Granton WI. the daughter of Henry and Eva (NEE: Farrow) Porath. Nancy grew up in LaCrosse, WI where she graduated from High School.  Nancy married James Johnson on September 19, 1959 in Waukegan IL. and he passed away on February 25, 2007.  Nancy was a longtime resident of Waukegan, IL.  She worked at the Bank of Waukegan as a Teller and was a homemaker for many years.   Nancy liked to read, garden, swim in the backyard pool and spend time with her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed by her 2 sons Dale (Judy) Johnson, Brian (Jennifer) Johnson along with 4 grandchildren Eric, Kyle, Hannah and Kolby.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, 1 brother Glenn(Joyce) and 1 sister Naomi(Jerry). Private family funeral services and burial were held for Nancy, per her wishes. The family would like to extend an invite for donations to the Arthritis Foundation.
