Jo-Ann Marcelle Hermes, 75, passed away at All Saints Ascension Hospital, Racine, on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Jo-Ann was born December 13, 1942 in Racine, the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Nee: Ferderer) Maison. She married the late David Hermes on July 15, 1985. David passed away May 10, 1999. She worked as a payroll clerk for Diamond Transport and Dallas & Mavis Trucking. She enjoyed coffee clutching with her friends and helping a gentleman named Chef serve breakfast and clean-up for the patrons of their apartment, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Robin (Eric LaVassor) Eisenhauer, grandchildren, Crystal (Phillip Bowens) Hart, Cody LaVassor, Casey Bradshaw and great grandchildren Te’Veon, Le’Nya, and Landry, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jo-Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband’s David Hermes and Robert Eisenhauer, 1 son Jeffery Eisenhauer, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive guests from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are appreciated.
