Jaime P. Guzman, 56, passed away Sunday January 1, 2017 in St Luke’s Hospital. He was born Uriangato in Mexico June 7, 1960 the son of Luis and MA.Luz (Nee: Pontoja) Guzman. Jaime married Sylvia (Nee: Chairez) Guzman on March 5, 2013 in Waukegan IL. A supervisor for Farley Candy Company, Jamie always loved a good party. He loved playing bingo, watching soccer and his favorite football team, The Green Bay Packers, along with, his 2 favorite players, Farve and Rodgers. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sylvia, parents Luis and MALuz, 1 daughter Jaymie (Jose) Lomas and 1 grandchild, Isaiah Gonzalez. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Luis, Jorge, Cornelio and Alberto along with 7 sisters, Lupe, Silvia, Marugenia, Leticia, Alejandra, Adrianna and Fabiola and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jaime was preceded in death by 2 cousins Ray Guzman and Carmen Ruiz. A funeral service for Jaime will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Racine Christian Reformed Church 900 Illinois St.. Pastor Francisco Golon officiating. The family will receive guests Monday January 9, 2017 from 5-8 pm in Strouf Funeral Home and again on Tuesday January 10, 2017 in church from 10:30 until the time of service at 11am. Burial will follow church services on Tuesday in Holy Cross Cemetery on HWY 32.
