Allen “Al” Maynard Arneson, 68, of Racine passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Ascension All Saint Hospital. He was born November 26, 1949 in Racine, the son of Morris and Adeline (NEE: Stendahl) Arneson. Allen worked as a supervisior at a Hilton Double Tree. He loved thrift shops. He also loved to grab a cup of McDonald’s coffee and head down to the lakefront to sip his coffee as he read the paper. Allen will be deeply missed by his two brothers Morris (Jeanne Marie) Arneson Jr. and Mark Arneson. He will also be missed by his three nieces Kristen, Melissa, and Candance, as well as his four nephews James, Joe, Damian, and Nicholas. Allen is survived by many other friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Morris and Adeline, and two sisters Annette and Becky. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9 A.M. until the time of service. Burial is private for the family per Al’s wishes.
